My passion for organizational excellence began as a child, when after suffering from too many Tupperware avalanches I decided to rearrange my Mom’s kitchen cabinets. Even though the “best fix” was quickly evident to me, my Mom did not fully appreciate my efforts.
While studying Psychology and Communications at the University of Colorado Boulder, I helped decorate, optimize and organize dorm rooms and my sorority sister’s closets. As an adult, my career blossomed; I moved fifteen times, and each time I became more savvy at purging and streamlining my wardrobe and household necessities. Finally, as a Colorado native, I know firsthand how to efficiently maintain and rotate my closet(s) for each of the four seasons that we enjoy here, sometimes all in ONE day!
Combining NAPO’s professional coursework and years of sales and marketing experience with Fortune 500 Companies, and working side-gigs at upscale home décor stores in visual merchandising, I decided it was time to scratch my entrepreneurial itch, and launch Organized By Burley.

I’m a professional organizer in the Denver Metro area in Colorado and member of the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO) with a sincere desire to help solve your residential and small-business organizational challenges.
What sets me apart is I am a proud Colorado native with a commitment to utilizing your donations and/or consignments to benefit two metro Denver non-profit service organizations, DDRC and Judi’s House.

Volunteer Work & Donations
What sets me apart from other organizers, is my community focus and goal to ask each client (you) if you would like to consign your high-end items so that those earnings can be donated to these two local charities.
Judi’s House For Grieving Children and Families
Judi’s House is devoted solely to providing free, research-based care to grieving children and their families in the Metro Denver area. Since 2002, Judi’s House has supported more than 11,000 youth and caregivers, toward our vision that no child should be alone in grief.
Following the suicide of my younger sister in 2009, I went with my three young nephews to Judi’s House 10-week Pathfinders grief education program.
Currently, I pay it forward by volunteering weekly as a grief companion for the children who come to Judi’s House.

DDRC Developmental Disabilities Resource Center
DDRC's Mission is to create Opportunities for People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and their Families to Participate Fully in the Community.
My connection to DDRC stems from the deep love and admiration of my recently deceased father, Jack Stunkard who served on the DDRC Board of Directors for 40 years and from my dear brother, Steve Stunkard who has Cerebral Palsy and continues to receive services from DDRC’s vocational and recreation staff.
