October is a good time to begin prepping for a calm(er) holiday season. There will never be a better time to deep-clean your bedroom.

- Clean your inside/outside bedroom windows, doorknobs, door moldings and baseboards – all of those spots that go unnoticed – and then vacuum and dust.
- Wash the bed linens, curtains, and bedskirt.
- Clean/polish mirrors, artwork and framed pictures.
