Summertime is a good time to read outside, AND to organize your books before school starts again for the kiddos.
Here are a few Tuesday’s Tips to reorganize your bookshelf:
- Gather all of the books in your home and place them in one central location to sort.
- Categorize as you wish (by color, author, genre or size) and purge books you no longer need. Consider only keeping the books that you WILL read, or refer back to later.
- In the future, when you plan to purchase a new book, use the “one in, one out” rule. If you purchase one, donate one (or more). This eliminates clutter and alleviates storage issues.
